Work permits

The Non-B visa, the work permit, the tax ID and the social security registration, prepared as one file. New permits, renewals, a change of employer, and the filings that keep a permit alive through the year.

Setting up a Thai company

Registration, the shareholder and director paperwork, the tax ID and VAT registration, the corporate bank account, and the work permit the company then issues. One file, one quote, and the stages written out before you start.

Retirement

Non-O and Non-OA, the annual extension of stay, the bank letters and account paperwork the office asks for, insurance documents, and the 90-day reports that follow.

Border runs

We collect you at home. Your papers are ready before you leave. Someone stays with you at both borders, then we drive you back to Chiang Mai. Private van or shared van.

Extensions

We check every form, photo, copy and signature. Then we file it at Chiang Mai Immigration, with you or for you.

90-day reporting

We remember the date, fill in the report and file it. You get the receipt and your next date.

TM30 and address

Landlord details, rental contract, house book. We file it when you move, and again when you return from a trip.

Re-entry permits

Single or multiple, filed at the immigration office or at the airport desk.

Documents

Bank letters, copies of your rental contract, translation, certification and embassy papers.

Questions

Can you do the work permit and the visa together?

Yes. The visa, the work permit, the tax registration and the reporting that follows are one file with us, and one written price covers the set.

Can you set up a Thai company?

Yes. Registration, the shareholder and director paperwork, the tax ID and VAT registration, the corporate bank account, and the work permit the company then issues. Tell us what the business does and who is in it, and the price breaks the stages out.

Which border crossing do you use?

It depends on your visa, and on which northern borders are open in the week you travel. Your written price says which border, before you book.

How long does a border run take?

Most border runs from Chiang Mai take one long day, from your home and back. Borders that are further away need one night, and we say so in the price.

Do you publish the immigration rules?

No. The rules change often, and a page of rules on a website goes out of date. We check the rules for your visa type and your travel date, and your written price follows them.

Who is this for?

Long-stay residents of northern Thailand — DTV holders, retirees, people on marriage, education and business visas, and anyone who needs to leave and re-enter periodically.

What does it cost?

We give a written price for each job, based on your visa type, your dates and where we collect you. Our prices are similar to other Chiang Mai agencies.

Do I have to go to the office myself?

Some papers need you there in person, and some do not. Your written price says which. If you must go, someone goes with you.

Can you take a group?

Yes. Couples, housemates and coworking offices can book together for one price.
